Accounting & tax
The adjustments are the work. The typing is not.
Every account mapped to its tax treatment, last year's papers and the rulings carried forward, the reliefs proposed — and a specialist deciding what actually goes in.
Where this starts
Closing is done and the ledger is final. Now someone opens last year's working papers next to this year's trial balance and walks every account again, deciding how each one is treated for tax.
What made it hard
The knowledge is real but it lives in people and in last year's files. A relief that was claimed before gets missed, a treatment that was contested gets repeated, and nobody can reconstruct why a line was decided the way it was.
How it works
Accounts are classified against the statute, the prior year's papers and published rulings — and every line carries the basis it was decided on. Reliefs are proposed from this company's own profile, then the specialist switches them on or off. What they approve is what the papers say.
Step through a run
Pick a filing and follow it. At step four you are the specialist — what you switch on changes the papers.
Pick a sample
The general ledger is read from the ERP
Every account, journal entry and fixed-asset record for the period. The filing is built from the ledger itself, not from a spreadsheet someone assembled.
